Last week, Corrigan-Camden used a strong performance by JoCourtney Johnson to roll past rival Groveton, 57-6.
While Corrigan-Camden is trying to wrap up a spot in the postseason, Centerville is simply trying to keep its playoff hopes alive.
The Tigers enter tonight's game with a 2-6 record to go along with a 1-2 district mark. After picking up a 40-8 win over Trinity two weeks ago, Centerville suffered a 21-14 setback to Buffalo last week.

Diboll (2-6, 1-2) at Carthage (8-0, 3-0) — After picking up their first district win last week over Huntington, the Diboll Lumberjacks will take a big step up in competition as they travel to take on the No. 2-ranked Carthage Bulldogs.

Carthage has been unstoppable this season with its only real tests coming against 4A teams Kilgore and Jacksonville. Since 18-3A play started, Carthage has easy wins over Center (35-0), Rusk (34-19) and Jasper (27-3).

That won't be an easy task tonight as the Indians take on a New Waverly team looking to secure the district title. After taking a key 37-34 win over Corrigan-Camden two weeks ago, New Waverly was a 47-8 winner over Trinity on Friday.
