The Mosaic Center wants to express our heartfelt thanks for the organization and production of The Angelina County Volunteer Day by The Lufkin Daily News. Glenda Taylor, Youth Director, and 21 teenagers from Abundant Life United Methodist Church worked along with Brad Busier, Scout Master, and Boy Scout Troop 136 to help the Mosaic Center.

Each group was actively involved in the cleaning of the grounds, removal of tree limbs, shrubs, cleaning windows, as well as the cleaning and re-stacking of items from our old antiquated garage. The young people's enthusiasm, outward good spirits, teasing and laughter made a volunteer day for us which we will always remember. The manners, politeness and general positive attitude each young person and their leaders demonstrated was delightful to experience. We saw in them genuine, thoughtful committed spirits, and that gives us all hope for the future of America.

Thank you for your creation of Volunteer Day, which allowed us to be involved with our area's youth and receive an abundance of busy workers and helpers.
