FYI: Aspen Power settles with protestants

The Lufkin Daily News

Thursday, October 29, 2009

Q: What's the latest on Aspen Power?

A: In a previous article in The Lufkin Daily News, Aspen Power's attorney, Robin Morse, confirmed that a confidential settlement has been reached with the protestants to the company's North Lufkin biomass plant. The agreement will enable construction to commence at the plant's site and an air quality permit to be issued, although slightly amended to ensure stricter environmental safeguards are in place.
