One thing led to another for a Groveton man charged with child pornography and drug possession Sunday afternoon.
An officer spotted Steven Brent Nobles, 34, allegedly dropping off two prostitutes outside a crack house on Rowe Street. After running his license plate number, the officer found he had four outstanding traffic warrants with the Lufkin Police Department.

Upon handing his license over to the officer, Nobles apparently "blurted out that he had some marijuana roaches in the truck," according to an arrest affidavit.
As Nobles stepped out of his truck, several folded papers fell out of his lap — papers the officer was able to see contained pornographic images of underage teen boys. As he was being handcuffed, Nobles told the officers he "printed off the images off of the Internet to show people that nasty stuff that you can find on the Internet," the affidavit stated.
Searching his truck, the officer found a baggie and a plastic container holding what appeared to be marijuana and rolling papers.
Police took Nobles to jail and booked him for third-degree felony child pornography possession, possession of drug paraphernalia/marijuana, and four traffic warrants.
Nobles is being held in the Angelina County Jail without bond on the pornography charge, and has bond amounts of $500 each for the traffic warrants.
He made an initial appearance before a state district judge Monday morning. His court-appointed attorney, John Tunnell, could not be reached for comment.
