A bicycle was stolen from Lufkin Middle School over the weekend, a Lufkin Police report stated. On Tuesday an officer at the school spotted a riding the missing bike. The boy was caught and later confessed to officers that he had stolen the bike.

The Lufkin Police Department made six arrests late Wednesday and early Thursday. Arrests and charges included: Chirstopher Wimbush, 25, no driver's license, failure to make financial responsibility, expired plates; Vernon L. Strugs, 33, aggravated assault; Leroy Criswell, 48, theft, failure to identify; Bryce M. Gipson, 35, no seat belt, no driver's license, failure to make financial responsibility; Marello Custillo, 34, driving while intoxicated; and Josephine G. Alamo, 54, telephone harassment.

The Angelina County Sheriff's Office made five arrests late Wednesday and early Thursday. Arrests and charges included: Nathan H. Atkinson, 21, revocation of probation, burglary of a habitation; Lacie M. Clements, 24, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; Samuel Johnson, 34, injury of a child; Tra Damon Tudman, 19, disruption of class, failure to sign citation; and John A. Bean, 19, judgment for evading arrest.

The Hudson Police Department made two arrests late Wednesday and early Thursday. Arrests and charges included: Kammey Emerson, 42, possession of a controlled substance and Gary Wayne Myers, 45, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
