A man was stabbed during a confrontation with another man late Saturday in the 700 block of West Grove, a police report stated. The man said someone he had "unfinished business" with pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the lower back, leaving a three-inch gash, the report stated. The man he accused left the scene before police arrived. The man who was stabbed went to a local hospital for treatment.

Assault was reported by a pregnant woman who said her unborn child's father slapped her in the face and then hit her in the stomach Sunday, a police report stated. The woman said the man accused her of cheating on him and then said if she was cheating that he didn't want her to have his baby, the report stated. The woman went to a local hospital for a check up on the baby.

A car stolen from the 800 block of Moore was later returned, a police report stated. The owner of the vehicle said he wanted to press charges against the family member who took his car without permission, the report stated.

A vehicle was reported stolen and later found out to be borrowed after the owner exchanged use of her vehicle for $100 worth of crack cocaine, a police report stated. The vehicle was found and returned to the owner.

Criminal mischief was reported by a woman who said a man she knows kicked a dent into the side of her car Saturday, a police report stated. The woman said the man came to her residence in the 100 block of Mott and began banging on her door, threatening to get a gun. The woman heard a loud bang and the man drove away, the report stated.

A fight was reported at Wal-Mart Supercenter Saturday, a police report stated. A group of juveniles assaulted each other while shopping in the store, the report stated.

Fraud was reported by a man who said he believed someone else is using his lost driver's license, a police report stated. The man said he lost it several years ago and had a new one sent to him with the same driver's license number. The man received a letter in the mail, which said his license would be revoked if he did not pay outstanding traffic tickets issued in Austin, the report stated. The man said he had never been to Austin nor been issued a ticket from Austin Police Department.

The Lufkin Police Department made four arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Shaun Bradley Burns, 34, theft; Calvin Walter Stakes, 54, public intoxication; Deandre D. Thomas, 26, DWI; and Aretha Smallwood, 57, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance.
