A 6-year-old child was reported missing for almost 10 hours Saturday night before being rescued by law enforcement and volunteers, a police report stated. A.J. Bonacci was found to be missing from his home in the 1900 block of Lobolly by a relative.
The child was last seen at the residence around 6:30 p.m. with a dog. An extensive search by numerous police officers and volunteers followed. Around 4 a.m. the child and his dog were located, unharmed, in a field off of Cox Road approximately a mile from his home.

A couple returned to their home Thursday in the 1200 block of Briarwood to find that someone had entered the house and ransacked the residence, a police report stated.

A woman reported that she has been receiving ongoing threats of assault from her ex-boyfriend's mother, a police report stated.

A obscene word was scratched into the trunk lid and side of a woman's car Saturday in the 2400 block of West Frank, a police report stated.

A man reported that someone has been using his name and date of birth to file a tax return in California, a police report stated.

A woman was advised by an ex-landlord that her property kept in a rent house in the 100 block of Daniels had been stolen, a police report stated.

The Lufkin Police Department made 12 arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: William Curl, 22, assault; Lindsey Anderson, 21, failure to make financial responsibility; Cherie Alvis, 34, no driver's license, speeding, and invalid driver's license; Chelsea Anderson, 22, theft; Floyd Lovelady, 40, criminal trespassing; Penny D. Sowell, 40, public intoxication; Amber Marcus, 28, public intoxication; Lori Abshire, 26, assault; Edgar Abshire, 28, assault; Aaron Anderson, 24, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia; Michael Bass, 53, DWI, and Amanda McCrae, 28, assault family violence.

The Angelina County Sheriff's Office made four arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Franklin Kegler, 67, judgment for DWI; Dexter Parker, 37, assault-family violence; Gabriel Reed, 22, assault-family violence and Keith Dennis, 33, driving while license invalid.

The Department of Public Safety arrested Daguberto Aguilera, 25, and charged him with DWI.

The Diboll Police Department arrested Jeffrey Dwayne Walker, 43, and charged him with a parole violation warrant.
