'Magnificent Desolation' takes a walk on the wild side

Now, thanks to the in-your-face effects of the IMAX movie system and the considerable self-promotional cooperation of NASA, we can feel like we are joining those dozen men in Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D.

Narrated and co-written by Tom Hanks, this IMAX documentary on lunar exploration uses unpublished photographs, previously unreleased NASA film footage, CGI imaging and live-action renditions of the lunar landscape.
