MET children's bird education offered at Zoo today

Charlotte Henley, director of education at Ellen Trout Zoo, will lead a bird print workshop for students at 4 p.m. Thursday. The event is for school age children, and limited space is available.

Henley will help students create footprints with rubber bird feet. The session includes discussion on different types of birds. To join call the Museum of East Texas at 639-4434 for a reservation. The program is free and open to the public, and being offered in conjunction with the John James Audubon: American Artist and Naturalist exhibit.
