A Marshall woman has been indicted for armed bank robbery, according to information from the U.S. Attorney's Office released Wednesday.
Jennifer Moore, 35, if facing federal charges for bank robbery and using a gun during a crime of violence.
According to the Indictment, on Oct. 13, Moore is alleged to have entered the lobby of the Texas National Bank in Bullard, pointing a gun at tellers and demanding cash before fleeing on foot. She was later seen leaving the area in a truck, a press release stated. She then fled on If convicted, Moore faces up to 25 years in federal prison.
She turned herself in to authorities on Oct. 17 for other charges, but police knew she was wanted for the robbery by then, Bullard Police Chief Gary Don Lewis told the Jacksonville Progress in an Oct. 20 story.
"Sgt. Bryan Richards was able to get out pictures and audio tapes to area media, which led to numerous citizens calling in and giving suspect information," Lewis said in the story. "The citizens were responsible for helping and the bank clerks participation all helped."
The FBI uncovered evidence linking her to the robbery during a search of her home, the story stated.
She had been behind in her rent until paying it in cash after the robbery, her landlord said in a statement to authorities.
