Officers responding to a burglar alarm around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning found someone had thrown a rock through a glass door and stolen several pre-paid cell phones from a business in the 1600 block of Atkinson Drive.

A woman reported her boyfriend hit her in the eye and the mouth during an argument Sunday night on Glenn Street. A warrant has been requested for his arrest.

A known suspect slammed a woman to the ground and hit her several times Sunday evening on Briarwood Street.

A man's house was egged Saturday night in the 100 block of Fred Street. One egg that was thrown broke the glass in the front door of the home.

A woman reported that a known suspect has been sending her threatening text messages and even showed up at the her house on Vine Street, trying to get her to come out and fight.

A window on a house was broken by unknown means sometime Saturday night in the 500 block of Park Street.

Three vehicles were broken into at an apartment complex Saturday night in the 900 block of Camp Street. Stereo equipment and assorted papers were stolen from the cars.

Someone threw rocks off the railroad tracks through the glass door of a business Saturday night in the 200 block of Angelina Street.

A profanity was spray painted on a garage door of a residence Saturday night in the 100 block of Burke Street.

The headlights were stolen off a car while it was parked at a home Saturday night in the 2900 block of Paul Street.

The Lufkin Police Department made eight arrests late Sunday and early Monday. Arrests and charges include: Joshua Lee Peterson, 29, possession of drug paraphernalia; David D. Alexander, 35, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; Theresa Riley, 45, possession of a controlled substance, theft and possession of stolen property; Adrianna Elizabeth Padilla, 34, capias warrants for no insurance, no driver's license, unrestrained child and failure to appear; Kay Edward Shankle, 45, expired driver's license, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia; Jerome Keith Lee, 29, revocation of probation for DWI; and Rhonda Evans, 31, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft.

The Angelina County Sheriff's Office made two arrests late Sunday and early Monday. Arrests and charges include: Gaylon Stuart Starkey, 35, public intoxication; and Bryan Stuart Anglin, 34, public intoxication.

The Angelina County Jail housed 258 inmates as of 11 a.m. Monday.
