The FBI has been called in to investigate a robbery at Commercial Bank of Texas on Lufkin's Tulane Drive Friday afternoon.

Crimson Christian Academy, a new Christian high school in Lufkin, will open this fall. Last school year, Doug Boone, the new director for Crimson Christian Academy, traveled to several Christian schools in East Texas while coaching boys and girls middle school basketball teams from a private Christian school in Lufkin. Although Boone has taught and coached at Huntington public schools for 17 years he began to see a need for a Christian high school.
