State revamps sex offender database
The Texas Department of Public Safety has unveiled a complete redesign of the state’s sex offender registry. With enhancements to the public Web site, users will be able to subscribe to e-mail notifications about database changes in a specific zip code or to a specific offender’s record, as well as access additional information about specific offenders, including their reported workplace.
Enhanced mapping allows users to search by name, address, zip code and county. Lists of names include the proximity of each registered sex offender to the address provided by the user.
New information about registered sex offenders that is now available to the public:
- The offender’s complete work address
- Whether the offender attends an institution of higher education
- The offender’s occupational license information
- Texas and out-of-state sex offenses
Users also will be able to subscribe to an e-mail service that will notify them when changes are made to a specific offender’s record or when a change is made to the record of an offender who resides in that zip code. To subscribe, users should click on “create a subscription” and select the type of report they wish to subscribe to from a drop-down menu. They will enter the zip code, address, school or SID they are interested in being notified on and then enter their email address and click on “done.”

Yup! Yer right on, this time, DPS! Although this is the after-effect of being caught, you still have to go after these sick offender’s before they infiltrate further, our schools, library systems, colleges and universities, and other places of employment and recreation where kids are continually around.
Sex offenders play upon Gay Pride parades and other civic events, where children are. What a vulnerable age these kids are. Just this week, in Mars Hill, Maine, a 30-year old woman was caught through the crime network in the UK, for distributing (and filming) porn with and of children to be sold on the Internet.
These degenerates are everyplace, and a lot of them you would not even know or to be recognized as a sex-offender. These people always have an answer for their behavior and lifestyle and for anyone who comes along with a question for them to justify their being this way. In any sense of the word, the law enforcement divisions (public and private to include INTERPOL) and governmental enforcement departments of the US and also in and for every other country in the world, have barriers in-place combating against this unfortunate lifestyle and predicament. What the situations are and incorporated as an after-market effect (following trial and conviction, in other words) cannot be emphasized more dramatically.
