Gohmert votes no on financial bailout

Lufkin’s congressman was among those in the House voting Monday to defeat a $700 billion financial industry bailout bill pushed by the White House.

Way to go Louie. You have done a good thing.

Sure, it’s gonna hurt for a while, but we have to learn (or remember) that there are risks to bad banking in this country.

I commend Louis Gohmert for this courageous vote.

Most Republicans, including our Senators Hutchison and Cornyn voted FOR this huge wealth transfer from taxpayers to favored corporations.

Gohmert was one of the few congressmen who voted against it.

That’s why I voted for him on November 4th despite his support for the wars that are inflating our national debt.
