Taxpayers should take time to learn about county’s finances
It’s election season and, coincidence or not, the fiscal policies of our county sheriff are being questioned again.
County Auditor Eddie Gray has complained in letters to Sheriff Kent Henson and the district attorney’s office that there are “several areas of concern” in the way the sheriff’s office processes its forfeiture and restitution funds.
