Clyde Herrington is as honest a man as you will ever find! I seriously doubt there was ever a significant delay in getting deposits to the bank, but if so, it was because he spends his time in the District Courtroom making sure the streets of Lufkin are safe for its law-abiding citizens, not trying to impersonate an accountant! No one knows the law better than our District Attorney. Clyde Herrington has been on overload without an adequate staff for too long. One quick glance in the D.A’s office will reveal how cramped, crowded and understaffed they are. Give the man a break! He needs every ounce of our support, not criticism. Everyone who works for him or with him, has nothing but the utmost respect for Mr. Herrington. He deserves a medal for all he puts up with! No one else has a better record for clearing our town of thieves, rapists, drug dealers, child molestors, and murderers. We are blessed to have him.

Right…and this is why most rapists and criminals get such short sentences and/or probation. This is why they become repeated offenders. I’m like so curious to c who gets put behind bars in 2 weeks now…

Now maybe we all need to look for a different sherriff and maybe now someone will wake up and realize that he s not all he says he is. As far as mr herrington im not concerned. He does not need to be investigated. The sherriff is a different story. He has long needed to get out of office and they should have seen that a long time ago. Vote him out

Kent is an honest man, who runs a department that is underbudgeted. I highly doubt if he’s losing any sleep over any investigation of his department.

You have got to be kidding me. I just went to Trents website and this fool never ceases to amaze me with his display of ignorance. Deputies and officers from different agencies will talk after they respond to a call together, just as dispatchers from different departments talk after receiving calls that one department has transfered to another. Just like medics that respond to a call. You talk to one another. This is what the majority of public servants do. If you have never sat at a console and worked as a dispatcher you have zero right to talk about one. On a daily basis there is the man that calls in about four wheelers on his road. Then you have the woman who has once again locked her keys in the car. Or what about the ones that call all the time because of the dogs barking, yes its a nuisance to hear them yelping, but what do you expect to be done. Dogs bark, four wheelers are rode and neigbors p** each other off. You can not condemn these dispatchers for talking. Its the way steam and frustration is vented. My very first call when I was on ambulance was a lost condom call. That was 13yrs ago and I still tell that story.

To: A Citizen Please allow me to answer your question and correct you. First you asked where is all the blind Kent supporters. Well, I assure you we are out here by the hundreds! Though, We are not blind. Ever heard that Silence is Golden?

And to educate you a little, You can’t even spell PROBLY. On to Kent being on his knees praying. Well it takes a much greater man to get on his knees and pray than one who doesn’t know how good that feels! Shame on you for making fun of a man who prays!

And to comment about your statement, Kent knows he does not have to worry about the election! All the Christians in Angelina County will Not forget about the photos of the deceased girl. Trent Burfine can keep digging and probing, but will not succeed in this race. I can promise you that because #1 There is hundreds of Kent Henson Supporters, #2 We are Educated, and #3 We are Christians! He doesn’t stand a chance.

I do hope that you learn to pray and that God does not have to bring you to your knees to open your eyes! Thanks for your time!

You didnt spell it correctly either. But you are right about one thing. That is why I am on my knees praying daily. I beg that the Lord will quickly judge Kent and rush him to prison. Think how the county would be. No more of those get r dun jokes. Deputies would probably respond to calls and they would have more money in the ACSO budget because Kent wouldnt be there stealing it. I also think that the money he has stolen should be replaced and put into an ACSO fund for the deputies and their dispatchers. That way they could draw the money out when they need it and use it to repair and/or replace their decayed teeth. I have never seen so few teeth on so many people since a fishing trip to the river in Rivercrest. I mean come on, tooth paste, brushes and floss are abundant and affordable. Please help these people. Can you imagine how challenging it must be if you are a dispatcher and you have been in your chair all night because of a flood of telephone calls. You have been explaining call after call how no deputies are available when suddenly you feel hunger pangs. You look around for anything to eat when all you can find is a Chico stick. You want it so bad but you have no teeth. What a tradgedy. The employees and citizens deserve better. That is why I have been praying day and night that Kent will be arrested. By the way, does anyone know or have any idea what he did with the grand he stole? I know he didnt spend it on new clothes because he has that same deer tie on everytime I see him on t.v.

Kent is actually a pretty decent guy. His big problem is that he’s weighted down by the two dullards who are his second and third in command. One claims to be working on department policy (yea right) and the other is consumed by plotting against those he considers a threat to his little job. Kent, get rid of those two and fill it with two guys who won’t be “yes men” and will actually give you some good advice. It’s your only chance of turning your administration around.

Well, what goes around, comes around, “YOU TWO” will be judged for the mishandling of funds, and for the unjustly, uneven scale of justice that you have put innocent peoples lives through. 1/3 to 1/2 of the people you put in prison are innocent of what they have been charged with, while, the unjustly, walk your streets freely. It is time now, that “YOU”, be judged.
