EDITORIAL: Democratic Primary

Was Sen. Barack Obama’s stunning performance Tuesday in North Carolina and Indiana enough to convince Sen. Hillary Clinton that she cannot win the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination?

Apparently not. Clinton and her supporters continue to say they will fight all the way to the August convention and on to the White House. That bravado flies in the face of the delegate math that strongly favors Obama. And those numbers grow stronger as more superdelegates, who will decide the nominee, commit to Obama.

I remember a few years ago when the liberal Lufkin Daily News was chanting “let every vote count”. Now with two of the largest states in the union being disenfranchised you guys don’t seem to care so much about counting votes huh? Hundreds and thousands of votes just flused down the toilet. Rush was right.

The Democrat party isn’t democratic by any means. None of the actual votes count until the delegates committ to a democrat candidate. SUPER delegates are special powerfully rich people picked by the Democrat Party leaders who decide what the DNC “really want”. Right now millions of democrats in two of the largest states have been tossed out by the DNC. Weird isn’t it? Obama has hijacked the Democrat party by offereing nothing but skin color…really weird isn’t it? It’s a first for sure, in this Nation of freedom, there will be those who will vote for him on skin color alone.

In the past the media would be all over this reporting how subversive it would be for a political party to select it’s candidate in a undemocratic way. It’s almost like the communists party way of doing things in the old Soviet Union. Where is the outrage? Where is the media? Why would the Lufkin Daily News endorse such a political party? Why would people even allow such authoritarin rule to take control of our country? I see a lot of democrat voters who must not be paying attention, while the powers at the DNC seize control. Now that’s a real threat to our country!
