end of an era for sure, but now what is going to hide all of the trash, discarded cars and dead bodies floating in the Brazos?

Let’s hope this time is the LAST time someone tries this venture without any intention of supporting or maintaining it. These guys have got to remember that the Brazos river water has a high brine content that corrodes metal. The city learned about that one the hard way with the old dam. They finally saw the light and built one that works.

Yeppers, Dale, and its caused from all them there cows a pee-peein’ up them other river inflows, much like the Bosque.

I agree. I’m sure that all the french fry grease Millers Steakhouse dumps in there doesn’t help either. That along with the Waco sewer leaks and all…
